TERRA BELLA ACADEMY

Terra Bella Academy is a unique new learning collaborative overseen by the Santa Clara County Office of Education. Participating districts include Mountain View-Los Altos Joint Union School District, Palo Alto Unified School District, Mountain View-Whisman Elementary School District, and the Fremont Unified School District. The districts have collaborated to develop a unique learning experience for students in grades 8 through 12. Academic instruction is standards and project based with individual opportunities for credit recovery. The curriculum is in collaboration with the Santa Clara University and provides support for students who struggle to be successful on a comprehensive school campus, need a small learning environment and also require more direct adult supervision. Other services include transition skills development, vocational training with behavioral and therapeutic support. The School also offers services for students who are eligible for special education services.
